Navy Seabees, with help from the Marines of 8th Engineer Support Battalion, began construction to replace the roof of a medical facility about five miles from the coast of Port-de-Paix, Haiti, July 27, as a part of a U.S. Southern Command joint relief effort titled “Continuing Promise 2010.”

This facility, forced to shut down due to structural damage to the roof caused by a recent hurricane, is one of only two medical facilities in the area.
