Army Staff Sergeant Salvatore Giunta, the first living Medal of Honor recipient since the Vietnam War, will give a live briefing via webcast today at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, from Vicenza, Italy.

Giunta was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions during an ambush in the Korengal valley of Afghanistan. Actions which were witnessed by Sebastian Junger and immortalized in chapter two of his book, titled WAR.
