This issue of On Patrol brings together the diverse voices of
individuals who served on or after September 11 in various roles.
Their personal stories illustrate what it means to serve in the
Maj. Roger Lee practices with his sled dogs for the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in Alaska. Lee hopes to qualify for this year's race of more than 1,000 miles from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska. Lee is a 60th Aerospace Medicine Squadron bio-environmental engineering operations officer. (Courtesy photo)
The mission of ON★PATROL is to honor those who serve and those
who serve them. It is our hope that through ON★PATROL we can share
as many stories as possible through the magazine, USOonPatrol.org,
and our community of guest columnists and fellow organizations. If
you have a story to share with us, please email us at EditorOnPatrol@uso.org.
